Innovation in Electromobility: How could be Slovakia involved
The automotive industry in Slovakia accounts for more than 40% of industrial production, but it actually doesn’t create almost any innovation domestically. The challenge Slovakia faces is the electrification of transport and the introduction of autonomous vehicles, which can significantly impact our car sectors. What could we do to keep up with the current trend and to avoid Slovakia becoming Detroit of eastern Europe?

Patrik Križanský
Patrik Križanský received his MBA degree from the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) and Wirtschaftsuniversität Vienna (WU Wien). He also holds a master degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy. Currently, he is engaged in ENAIRGY, consultancy focused on e-mobility and renewables and in Danubia NanoTech, R&D company focused on the development of carbon nanomaterials (graphene). He co-founded the Slovak Electric Vehicle Association (SEVA) and also co-founded and chairs EMOCITY – Cluster for Smart City and E-mobility.
