Prof. Daniel Donoval is a full professor and director of the Institute of Electronics and Photonics at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, STU Bratislava. He is involved in advanced semiconductor structures, devices and systems supported by modeling and simulation, mostly for the automotive and sustainable energy market. Born in Reggio di Calabria (Italy) in 1972, he is a lawyer specialized in international relations and institutional communication. He graduated in Law at the University of Parma and got a Master's Degree in International Relations at the University of Bologna. Until 2010 he worked as Political Advisor in the European Parliament, contributing to the elaboration of several legal texts in the research sector. Until 2015 he worked for the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, as Stakeholders Relationships Manager. Since 2016 he has been responsible for relations with the European Institutions (Parliament, Commission and Council, etc.) for the ECSEL JU.
