Petra Dzurovčinová

As the Chief Innovation Officer, she is involved in the development of technical and process innovations, cooperation with the academic, business and third sectors, the creation of a city laboratory and the management of pilot projects. She also coordinates international cooperation on Eurocities and other platforms. She worked for the Australian non-profit organization The Royal Institution of Australia, which promotes the development of science and education, where she was responsible for the development of the digital environment. She studied international trade at the University of Economics in Bratislava, at the French Business University in Brest and SKKU University in Seoul.

Milan Ftáčnik

Since r. 1980  until now he has been working as a university teacher at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University in Bratislava. He specializes in image processing and computer vision. He works at the Department of Applied Informatics, FMFI UK. From 1990 to 2002 he served as a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, in 1998-2002 as Minister of Education. Jaromír Beránek is the chairman of the IT and Smart City Committee and a representative of the City of Prague for the Czech Pirate Party. Its main focus is the development of the Smart City concept, support for innovation and innovative business in Prague. He works closely with the Mayor of Prague, Zdeněk Hřib. Beránek advocates a long-term and conceptual approach to the development of the smart city as he is behind the project of the AC charging station network for Prague or the Prague Innovation Marathon competition. Tomáš Lapáček

Tomáš Lapáček (37) has been the Director of the Strategy and Policy Section at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development since 2017. Prior to this, he worked as the Director of the Translation Division for the European Union at PRESTO. In previous years, he worked as the head of the European Affairs Department of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic and an advisor to the Minister of the Environment. In 2008, he was an assistant to MEP Josef Zieleńca in Brussels. He studied International Relations and Foreign Affairs at the University of Reading and is a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, where he studied international relations and political science.
