Innovation Management as an Opportunity to Modernize Public Administration
Distress compels us to work with what's at hand. In recent months, it has become clear that by combining the tools available and innovative management, we can achieve unique results and solutions. During the emergency situation in connection with Covid-19 in the Czech Republic, we used innovative management as a modern management system. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, in cooperation with other ministries and the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, introduced digital tools and implemented new projects and new financial instruments in the very first hours. Robin Čumpelík
Robin Čumpelík is responsible for implementing and coordinating the Innovation Strategy of the Czech Republic 2019 - 2030. He leads the National Marketing Team, the aim of which is to unify the communication and visual identity of the state. He is a member of crisis staffs, coordinator and main manager of activities of several technological projects, including the covpoint.org and spojujemecesko.cz platforms. In the past he collaborated e.g. on the development of the technological startup Nano Energies, preparation of the innovation fund Nation 1 (intended for pre-speed projects), but also worked for non-profit organizations (eg a festival for children from children's homes Outside Home).
