Jitka Brandejsová graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication at Brno University of Technology, specializing in electronic computers. First, she worked as a system programmer and, from 1999, in managerial positions of several IT companies, where she specialized in electronic signatures, Certificate Authority and security policies managing state-funded projects. In 2005, she became a marketing and project manager of the Masaryk University Information System (IS MU), which was awarded the EUNIS Elite Award in 2005. Working in Computer Systems Unit, Faculty of Informatics Masaryk University, Brno, she assumed responsibility for special projects in the e-learning and plagiarism fields, cooperation with universities and research organisations and delivering customer focused IT academic services to other universities.
