  • Practical problems of urban informatization
  • Digital City
Turčianske Teplice is first digital city in Slovakia delivering its services through mutual electronic communication between citizens/entrepreneurs and municipal Office. In municipal Office were implemented internal electronic administrative actions. This municipal eGovernment example is in use since April 2009. The Digital City enables citizens/entrepreneurs to handle everything through internet anytime without the need to visit municipal Office. Digital city distinctively simplifies and speeds most common administrative processes. eServices are synonym of more comfort for citizens/entrepreneurs because the time necessary for handling of requests was shortened to under 30 days and processes of the Office are more effective.
