The challenge.gov.sk platform represents a unique project in the Slovak public administration environment, which uses elements of crowdsourcing. It is a place where the demand and supply of innovative solutions to old and new problems meet. It enables public administration and self-government institutions to find solutions to current challenges in the form of competitions and hackathons, while really anyone can participate. The aim of the project is to look for fast, efficient and modern solutions to the problems facing public administration today, while we do not want to create administrative obstacles, but on the contrary, encourage participation. Unlike regular procurement, solutions already developed are valued, and therefore not the best offer for future delivery. The requester will thus receive a proposal for solving a specific problem in a relatively short time and with minimal risk. It is this procedure that allows for maximum openness for virtually everyone and imposes only minimal administrative restrictions.
