Nowadays not only the Czech Republic but also Slovakia and the rest of Europe are experiencing transformation of public administration. This process is a part of eGovernment.  It is connected with terms like basic public administration registers, public administration communication infrastructure, eBoxes or authorised conversion of documents. All these tools are a revolutionary enhancement when it comes to efficiency of public administration and inevitably crucial for authorities within eGovernment. Electronization of public administration is not the only purpose of eGovernment. It is more about simplification of communication process among citizens, enterprises and public administration. Therefore, it is vital to take steps for improving it for citizens – to increase their comfort of communication. The solution designed for this purposes is a special portal for citizens, in Czech Republic known as “CzechPoint@home“.
