10:30 - 12:00 Why we need Value Based Healthcare?
The concept of Value Based Healthcare brings a fundamental change in philosophy. The added value of healthcare for the patient in relation to costs is becoming important in the financing of healthcare. In countries where the concept has been enforced by healthcare, it has become significantly more effective and far more open to innovation. Is Value Based Healthcare a way for Slovakia as well?

Only big goals can lead to big results. Slovakia has more than just a passive wait until the global trends of digital transformation happen to us. We know trends and we can anticipate them. Why not focus on what Slovakia can be at the forefront? Is it artificial intelligence? Is it high performance counting? Is it support for innovation?

DISCUSSION
13:30 - 15:00 Digital state within reach
The aim of the panel is to describe the plan to build a truly functioning digital state by the end of the election period from four perspectives. The first is the front-end, that is, what citizens will see. Another is the architecture of the digital state, that is, how it will all work. The third is the actual implementation of the "project" of building the digital state, that is milestones, connections, resources, outputs. Finally, there is the question of how to ensure efficiency and added value, so that we do not have to wonder for a few years whether it was worth the investment.

DISCUSSION
13:30 - 15:00 Resources for reform
The lack of resources for reforms will not stand as an argument in the event of their failure in the coming years. We have € 6.1 billion from the Recovery Plan, € 0.78 billion from the REACT-EU program, € 8.44 billion from the Eurofunds from the old programming period, € 12.37 billion from the new Eurofunds - a total of € 27.69 per the next 10 years, with the next 3 years being critical given the need for simultaneous use of several programs. From political agreements on the establishment of development programs to the reimbursement of project expenditures, which should meet the objectives of development policies, there is a long and demanding path. In this panel, we will look for answers to questions on how to improve the conditions for the use of resources for development on the part of both beneficiaries and providers.

15:30 - 17:00 Digital innovation in healthcare
Slovakia is a European leader in digital innovation in the healthcare sector. This is how European newspaper headlines could sound like this in 2025. What must Slovakia do to flood European news sites in the future? To support digital innovation in healthcare, we need to rethink the healthcare funding system, which does not take into account innovative practices and technologies. Public resources for digitization have clearly failed and have almost zero impact, especially in the health sector. During the panel, you will learn about specific examples of digital innovation.
