Milan Ištván

Partnerships for Prosperity
Milan Ištván studied journalism in Bratislava and Paris. In the years 1998 to 2002, he was the youngest member of the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic, dealing with topics such as Internet for schools, liberalization of the telecommunications market, and the law on electronic signatures. Since 2002, in the civil association Partnerships for Prosperity (PPP), he has been dedicated to supporting the informatization of society. He is a member of the Government Council of the Slovak Republic for the digitization of public administration and the single digital market and several working groups dedicated to eGovernment, Broadband and the implementation of EU funds in the digital field.

Ivan Marták

Office for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services
Ivan Marták has 30 years of experience in the electronic communications sector. From the beginning of his professional career, he worked in technical and managerial positions in Slovak Telekom and Orange Slovakia. For the last eight months before his election as Chairman, he worked in the Office for the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RÚ) as the Head of the Strategy Department. From September 2020 he is the Chairman of the Regional Office.

Professor Milan Dado works at the Department of Multimedia and Information and Communication Technologies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Žilina. He has actively participated in European research and education programs (TEMPUS, COST, LEONARDO, Socrates, the 5th, 6th and 7th Framework Programs and Horizon 2020, projects of the Association of European Universities and others.) Pavel Guláš

telecommunications expert
Pavel Gulas worked almost all his professional life in the telecommunications industry in Slovakia. He was involved in the largest projects in this sector (launch of the first 4G network in Slovakia, coverage of the first 320 thousand households FTTH, the first hybrid satellite TV, etc.) and in the preparation of a comprehensive change as the Slovak Republic should approach bridging the market failure gigabit connectivity to all its citizens, regardless of their place of residence - NBP (National Broadband Plan). He is an economist and also a doctorate in the liberalization of the telecommunications services market from the University of Economics, Faculty of Business.

Marek Chovanec

Slovak Telekom
Marek Chovanec has been working at Slovak Telekom as a manager of regulatory affairs since 2018. He began his professional career as a lawyer in the legal departments of companies operating in the field of media and nuclear energy. For the last twenty years he has been working on the topic of regulation in the electronic communications sector.

Tomáš Masár

O2 Slovakia
Tomáš Masár studied at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava and investment banking at the University of Paris Assas II in Paris. He began his career at Citibank in London, and later continued at Citibank Private Bank in Geneva and at ČSOB in Prague. In 2006, he started working in the field of telecommunications, first at Eurotel ČR, later Telefónica O2 ČR, where he focused on business development, as well as the project of establishing a third mobile operator in Slovakia. Zsolt Komszík

ERICSSON
He has been working for Ericsson Slovakia since 1999. During this period, he was responsible for various areas for mobile operators such as technical sales support, managed services and sales. Since 2019 he has held the position of Country Manager in Slovakia.
