Will artificial intelligence protect us from cyber threats?
We encounter the presence of artificial intelligence more and more often in IT security systems of various specializations. But what does artificial intelligence really mean? How can artificial intelligence help us and what is beyond its capabilities? Is it possible today to have a self-thinking system that will automatically protect us from various types of cyber threats? In our presentation, we will take a closer look at the ways of operation and possibilities of application of artificial intelligence mechanisms in modern tools aimed at assistance in the whole cycle of detection and prevention of cyber threats and point out the strengths and weaknesses of this new technology.

Juraj Nemeček
Juraj Nemeček graduated in computer engineering at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He has worked at TEMPEST for more than 11 years. He is currently the head of the network security consultants department at ALANATA. In his work he is mainly engaged in analysis, design of implementations and operation of systems for protection against cyber threats.
