He completed high school studies at the Jura Hronac Gymnasium (1997 – 2001) and then a master's degree in law at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava (2002 – 2009). Under the guidance of Ingrid Frohlichová, he devoted his diploma thesis to the issue of pension reform in Slovakia, and completed his defense on February 12, 2009.
