LUKÁŠ PALAJ, MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF SLOVAK REPUBLIC: ,,Can the state be a leader in introducing innovation?"
One of the essential tasks of the state is to support and supervise the development of the country's innovation system, including through the creation of partnerships and the support of cooperation between the public sphere, academia and industry. Following the example of other countries, the goal of the Ministry of Health is to establish a Health Innovation Center, the goal of which is to systematically support the improvement of the health care system in terms of its quality, availability and efficiency, and to support the healthy lifestyle of the Slovak population. The fulfillment of this goal has the potential to secondarily support the increase in the export of technologies, the attraction of foreign investments in the Slovak Republic in the field of healthcare and the creation of new jobs.
