Proactive protection of medical devices against cyber attacks
Information about cyberattacks on medical devices is constantly increasing, and experts dealing with this issue are aware of the possible fatal consequences. These security failures can lead to the blocking of the functionality of medical devices, or the modification of medical records used by doctors to establish a diagnosis. A successful attack directly threatens the health of the patient and can cause economic damage that is difficult to estimate today. Despite the importance and relevance of the topic, medical organizations in our region do not have the necessary knowledge to protect or avert such a threat.
