He held the position of general director of the pharmacy and drug policy section at the Ministry of Health and was part of the team that in 2022 amended Act 363/2011 Coll. on the scope and conditions of reimbursement of medicines, medical devices and dietetic foods. In addition to the preparation of the amendment, he also participated in its implementation, when he was responsible for the creation and implementation of a strategy to catch up with the lagging behind in the availability of innovative medicines for Slovak patients. He worked in leading positions in the pharmaceutical industry for a long time. He currently works as a strategic consultant in the field of drug policy, pharmaco-economic evaluation of health technologies and analysis of health data.
