He is a professor at the Institute of Robotics and Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His research and teaching interests include the implementation of artificial intelligence methods in the field of control and robotics. Since 2018, František Babič has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University in Košice. In research, he mainly deals with the processing and analysis of various types of data, in recent years especially in the domain of providing health care or supporting medical diagnostics.
