He has worked in a number of healthcare facilities and companies. In addition, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the University Hospital in Nové Zámky and Vice-Chairman of the Categorization Commission for Special Medical Materials of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. Since October 2023 he has been the State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.

In 1996 he completed his studies at the Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava, in 2011 he completed his master's studies at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University of Law in Bratislava. He graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava and has been working at Union Insurance Company since 2002. He started as an actuary and gradually worked his way up to becoming a member of the Board of Directors. He also spent two years with his family in the Netherlands and nearly four more in Romania, where he represented Union’s parent company, Achmea. Since January 2023, he has been serving as the Director of Union's Health Insurance Division.
