Benita Fekete studied at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pavel Jozef Šafárik in Košice, where she completed her bachelor's degree in social work and also received a PhD in political science. She gained practical experience at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Bucharest and the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations in Geneva. She collaborated with Stratpol, a thin-tank for research on international relations and security policy, and the Infosecurity portal, which focuses on the control of the information space with regard to disinformation and security.
