Peter Bročka was born on 31 August 1982 in Trnava. He was first elected to the office of the Mayor of Trnava in 2014. Also in his third term, he is emphasizing green solutions, efficient mobility and the use of smart technologies to move Trnava towards a better and sustainable future.

He is the director of the transport and operations department at the Transport Company of the City of Žilina s.r.o. (DPMŽ). After completing his studies in 1997, at the Faculty of Operations and Economics of Transport and Communications at the University of Žilina, he connected his entire career to date with DPMŽ. He held various positions in the area of ​​transport, operation, development and implementation of information technologies. Since 2011, in the position of transport and operations director, he has been responsible for the management of individual departments within the operation of buses and trolleybuses in public transport Žilina, such as traffic dispatching, preparation and creation of timetables, planning of driver service…
