9:25 - 10:00 Norway - the Land of Opportunities (hall LONDON I+II) INTERPRETED
The Norwegian healthcare sector is based on high-quality data. In addition to digitization, Norway is also active in the field of health in prevention, screening, and medical technologies and represents a country open to the solution of clinical trials. The country has several excellent universities and research institutes, which are also among the leaders in other areas of "life sciences". Cooperation with these workplaces opens up a new perspective on the health status of the population and, at the same time, new possibilities for solving global challenges for its improvement.

12:10 - 13:00 Monitoring of the Environment and Its Impact on Health (hall BERLIN) INTERPRETED
Environmental and human biomonitoring are key tools for monitoring and evaluating the quality of the environment and its impact on human health. Environmental monitoring focuses on monitoring the physical, chemical and biological factors of the environment. Human biomonitoring identifies the presence of toxic substances and their effects in the humans. The importance of environmental and human biomonitoring lies in their ability to identify potential risks to human health and environment. Early warning of environmental threats can lead to disease prevention and public health protection. How can innovation improve the prevention of diseases related to environmental exposure and promote overall public health and protection of environment? How is Slovakia doing in this area?

14:00 - 14:50 Bio and Nanomaterials in Healthcare (hall BERLIN) INTERPRETED
Developing and using new materials represent an innovative approach, particularly in disease treatment. What are the main challenges in putting these materials into practice? Are these materials safe compared to traditional materials? In which area of healthcare are they most applicable? Bio and nanomaterials represent an essential area for the future of medicine and personalized treatment. Scientific teams around the world are focusing on this area.  As part of Norway Day, we present results from the University of Bergen in this field.
