József Györkös (SI) state secretary at the Ministry of Information Society in the Republic of Slovenia (since 2001) with an important background in computer science and informatics (including postdoctoral experience at some European universities). He is a full professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Science at the University of Maribor, Slovenia where he headed the Laboratory for Computer Aided Communication (1993 - 2001) and where he served a term as a member of the Board of Directors of the university.
