Paul D. Swinwood is President and CEO of the Software Human Resource Council Inc. a private not for profit corporation.  Since 1995, Paul has been developing and managing SHRC projects, implementing operational plans, as well as developing business partnerships with industry, educational institutions and governments.

Paul became active in the IT sector upon graduation from the Eastern Ontario Institute of Technology in 1966.  His career to date has covered roles in many companies as technician, systems developer, programmer, account manager, regional software manager and Canadian Operations Manager of Software Services for at Digital Equipment of Canada Ltd.
As president of Learning Tree Canada International Inc., between 1988-1991, Paul took on the challenge developing a branch plant operation into a profitable, world-leading supplier and exporter of educational courses and educational expertise.
He is a sought-after presenter and keynote speaker on human resource issues at conferences and seminars in Canada, USA, Africa and Europe.  Paul brings to his presentations an understanding of both private sector and public sector needs a broad knowledge of multiple business aspects and an ability to motivate.
He demonstrates his commitment to life long learning by attending various training courses and conferences to maintain and expand on his industry knowledge, management skills and technical expertise.
