Rudi Richter will be speaking about HP's initiative to use "Public Private Partnership" models to finance IT infrastructure for the Public Sector. HP has some recent large projects in Central and Eastern Europe that where completely financed and delivered as turnkey solutions by HP for government institutions. This allowed government to implement these projects without upfront investment costs and to generate even additional revenues (fees) since the functionality of the projects allowed a higher level of services to the citizens.

Rudi Richter
Rudi Richter has been appointed Director for Government and Public Affairs with the launch of the new HP in May 2002.
In his function he is heading the ISE region (International Sales Europe) in terms of all government related business.
Austria, Switzerland, Central & Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East are all part of this region (about 110 countries in total).
Rudi has started his career with HP in 1996 in HP’s Professional Services Organization as Project Manager for Central and Eastern Europe. He has been working in the delivery of large government projects in Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine.
