He is a graduate of St. Petersburg Institute of Electrical Engineering. He works since 1984 at Computer and Informatics Department in Technical University of Kosice where he built in 1998 acclaimed Computer networks lab. Since 1999 he coordinates in Slovakia the global education initiative Cisco Net Academic Program and 2009 – 2013 he was Cisco regional program manager responsible for development of the program in 11 states of former Russian Federation.
