Public sector organizations are increasingly being driven to improve operational efficiency, share information and integrate processes across operational boundaries while maintaining control over costs. Recently, cloud computing has captured significant attention as both a business model and a computing infrastructure model that enables public sector organizations to achieve these objectives.
Oracle, with infrastructure capabilities and the number one commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) market share globally for enterprise software in public sector, now enhanced through the recent acquisitions of BEA Systems and Sun Microsystems, is a leader in cloud computing.
This presentation outlines Oracle’s cloud computing strategies and solutions for public sector customers and partners, and articulates Oracle’s value proposition and differentiators.
