ICT Security and elimination of impacts caused by targeted attack

Information and communication technologies (ICT) are necessary part of social and economical development of a society. It is therefore necessary to intensify their protection not only on national level but also internationally. The focus of the presentation is development of coordinated processes effectively helping institutions to prepare for technology failures, natural disasters and other crisis situations such as attacks on ICT that are part of state information infrastructure. Presentation will demonstrate trainings that enable institutions to verify response to security incidents, reveal specific vulnerabilities in internal processes and procedures, identify mutual interconnections and relations and strengthen cooperation at the national and international platform.

Petra Hochmannová works since 2010 in the field of information security at special department of Computer Security Incident Response Team Slovakia - CSIRT.SK, part of DataCentrum organization, under Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. She first took on the role of information specialist for ICT security with focus on incident solutions, international cooperation development and management of information security projects. At present she is a Director of CSIRT.SK.
