The amount of digital content to be produced within the Digital gallery
project demands good practice in its management. Planning of the
digitisation process, creation of the metadata, storage, search and longtime
preservation of hi-quality digital images will be done in the CEDVU
information system for art museums. Presentation will focus on our current
experiences with digitisation of cultural heritage and its management in the
context of OPIS and overall landscape of slovak art museums.
