e-Government global trends and vision until 2020 - experience in Taiwan
Since the conceptual framework developing began in 1987 for the computerized nationwide government services, Taiwan has successfully established and operated through 4 stages of e-Government development, including computerization, networking, eServices, and Innovation/mServices. For the future development, the government cloud services have the priority. For G-Cloud Services Planning, the components are tax filing, food safety, disaster recovery services, low carbon services, education resources sharing, real time traffic information, etc.
