Jan Overgaard
Mr. Jan Overgaard, MSc Political Science, Centre Manager at Danish Technological Institute, Innovation Centre for e-business. Jan has been employed by Danish Technological since 1 May 2008. He was previously Head of Section in the Danish National IT and Telecom Agency (Telecom regulation and ICT project manager) and in the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation (Governance in the area of IT, Technology and Innovation).
His key competencies include specific knowledge of the information society domain and the ICT-sector, quantitative and qualitative methods, conducting policy-projects, managing and carrying out Awards, impact assessments and evaluations, scenario development and policy development.
Jan is involved in a range of national projects and studies commissioned by the European Commission, The European Monitoring Centre on Change and the OECD. Main areas of expertise include information society, eGovernment, policy analysis and working out report and policy-proposals. Jan is the author of the article 'The impact of the financial crisis on Danish e-Government Strategy' in European Journal of ePractic.
