Slovak Supercomputer
The national project Slovak Infrastructure for High Performance Computing was approved by the minister of education on December 1, 2009 as an infrastructure project within the Operational Program Research and Development, strategic aim of which is to build a computer infrastructure, which will allow for the implementation of high performance computing for science, research and development and academic fields on the European level.
The qualitatively new level of high performance computing technology creates the prerequisites for us to join the existing European space of research as equal partners. The computing infrastructure will be available for the scientific and academic community across Slovakia.
