Digitalization of Cultural Heritage Administrated by Churches
A big part of the Slovak cultural heritage is at present administrated by churches. A cost-effective digitalization of administration and subsequent long-term preservation and parallel presentation could have several positive effects not only for churches but also for the whole society. The use of cloud services and advanced archiving and presentation technologies is both a logical and inevitable step. Experience in digitalization shows that the non-technological aspects of the whole process are even more important and coping with them actually determines the final result.
