Zuzana Hečko
Zuzana Hečko works as the head of Department of intellectual property rights and IT rights in the international office Allen & Overy. Zuzana gives consultancy in all aspects of trademarks, patents, copyrights, including transaction and agreement aspects and represents in arguments brought to The Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic. Zuzana also offers complex consulting services in personal data protection, privacy protection and represents her clients at The Office for Personal Data Protection. Zuzana represented Slovak associations of employers as the only legal representative during acceptance of amendment in April 2014 that partially mitigated the regime of Slovak law on personal data protection. Before she started to work at Allen & Overy, Zuzana worked for 3 years in European Commission in Brussels in the department of intellectual property and completed an internship in international office Hogan Lovells in Hong Kong.
Zuzana studied the law in Slovakia, Ireland and Belgium and is a member of anti-counterfeit committee of ECTA (European Community Trademark Association). Zuzana is also a vice-chair of work group for personal data protection in American Chamber of Commerce and a member of counselling body for privacy protection of digital leader of Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini. Zuzana speaks English and French.
