Assembles applications has introduced new standards for empowering citizens in a digital and user-friendly self-service environment. Assembles applications are unique in Denmark in combining cutting edge technology with state of the art citizen service. Assembles applications are award winning both nationally and internationally.
Mr. Svendsen joined Assemble in 2006 and has previously been CEO of Fujitsu Denmark. Mr. Svendsen has a Master Degree in Finance.

Digital self-service
The Danish Municipality of Gentofte has a first mover approach to digitizing municipal services. As one of the first municipalities in Denmark, Gentofte has developed a personalized digital point of entry to the municipality and the public sector in general. The digital self-service tool is called "Genvej"(shortcut in Danish). At "Genvej" the citizen only find information and self-services which are customized to their special needs. “Genvej” has won several awards home and abroad for being a convincing citizen centric project.
