Martin Dawson
Martin Dawson has extensive experience in EU policy, in particular through his work on enlargement negotiations with the Czech Republic, Turkey and the Western Balkans. He was involved in public administration reform as a foundation stone for stable democratic institutions as well as a key factor for economic competitiveness. In his current role in DG Connect he leads projects to modernise the European Commission administration through effective knowledge management, notably by leveraging the use of ICT tools.

Digital agenda – beyond eGoverment
The presentatoin will focus on progress so far in the implementation of the Digital Agenda across the EU and in particular in Slovakia. Then the priorities going forward in the light of the conclusions of the October European Council and the ICT research conference in November will be presented.
