She currently works as a Head of Informatics Division at the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic.
She acquired the first practical experience with programming at the CHTF SVŠT (Chemical-Technological Faculty of the Slovak Technical University) where she as one of the first within a diploma work dealt with mathematical modelling of chemical processes by means of computer science. In her first workplace, in the Czechoslovak Academy of Science in Prague, she moreover focused on analytical and programming activity.
In 1984 she started to work for the Institute for Information and Management in Culture. In the course of time she worked in several expert positions from a programmer through system administrator up to head of computer centre.
The Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic is represented in several advisory authorities by e.g. Slovak Republic Government Board for Informatics, Statistical Board.
