Centralized management of reference data (CSRU) - tangible implementation of the "Only once" principle
Do not circulate among authorities, do not print unnecessary certificates, save your precious time ... ask that these acts are made by public officials and their information systems at their disposal using services of information system for data exchange - IS CSRU.
Until now development of eGovernment in Slovakia was focused mainly on the implementation of electronic services related to life situations of citizens or business. One of the main obstacles to the application of the "Only once“ principle and thus achieving greater convenience for citizens and businesses on one hand and increasing the efficiency of public administration, on the other hand, is insufficient interconnection of electronic services at the level of data exchange. And also Slovakia confirmed the experience from abroad, that proofs, that the exchange of data, although invisible to the public is hurting everyone, should it not work, is not just an IT problem.
But as the project Centralized management of reference data has proved, it is largely legal and organizational problem.
Presentation will clarify the basic principles of data management in the public sector and data sharing in terms of the current legislation with specific examples of application of the IS CSRU. -

The system allows to apply the principle "one time, last time" in terms of exchange of information that citizens or businesses provide to the administration. Thanks to this solution all involved institutions obtained access to complete and actual information, which are in the competence of other offices. During our presentation you will learn what kind of services will the IS CSRU provide for citizens, organizations and public administration.
