According to the national legislation the Statistical Office of the SR is responsible for results processing of all types of elections and referenda in Slovakia. The presentation describes the current situation in IT-using for election results processing, including the recent development. The on-line results presentation, which was used for the fist time in Parliament election 2006, is a good example of IT application in this process. The presentation focuses also on challenges we have to face in next election and referenda. Finally, possibility to introduce e-voting in Slovak Republic is discussed as well.
