Public administration is still more and more interested in Open Source and Free Software. Many states support various non-profit organizations trying to map the situation and inform about possibilities of implementation of OSS/FSS. EU also supports use of Free Software and Open Source. Czech republic doesn‘t differ from them.

In this presentation will be introduced organization OSS Alliance, under patronage of Ministry of Informatics of Czech Republic, some projects dealing with switch of some cities to OSS/FS (Linux, OpenOffice.org…), and other plans of this organization.
