eGovernment – An overview of the first year of implementation in the Prosecution Office
One year experience with the OPIS project named "Electronic services of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Slovak Republic" confirms the public is starting to use the eID card for requesting the list with criminal records or making a criminal complaint electronically. A centralized solution implemented in the Data center of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic has enabled an improvement also in the internal electronic communication between the various Prosecutor's Offices, as well as the creation of electronic prosecutors' cases with the possibility of the police and justice to connect.
