The Digital transformation, intelligent infrastructure and predictive technologies should not create just complex environment of connected people, vehicles, things and city ecosystems but improve people’s quality of life. There have already been piloting projects in European Union using combination of technologies, sensors and predictive modeling to solve problems related to e.g. city management, transport and people’s mobility. Telecommunication operators such DT with relevant footprint in Europe are system integrators providing not only high broadband connectivity (LTE, LTE-V, 5G in future) but developing E2E solutions with partners and enriching various number of use-cases with aggregated and anonymous mobility data. Slovakia has not been part of EU ITS projects yet but has had a real chance to show x-border use-cases as the contribution and experience for such projects within EU.

Martina Kralova is managing new business development team in Czech T-Mobile and Slovak Telekom operating on both markets. The aim is to collaborate more with 3rd parties as start ups and B2B partners to develop new innovative projects and products in the area of E-Commerce, Big Data, Internet of Things utilizing operators infrastructure and resources.
