Mr. Heimgartner  has worked in the ICT industry for the last twenty years.
Before he joined Cisco as a Director to Internet Business Solution Group, he had worked for five years as a Director and Member of the Executive Committee for a leading Management Consulting Company in several industries. As a Management Consultant he worked in 20 different countries on over 50 different assignment such as: Product and market strategy for a big European industry conglomerate, product and market strategies for telecommunication service provider, Due diligence for technology assignments and M&A projects as well as program management assignments for new telecommunication service providers (launch management for a new GSM Provider). Before he joined Management Consulting he worked for a leading System Integrator as Vice President Consulting and Professional Services and Member of the Executive Committee. In this role he signed responsible for the set-up of one of the first multi protocol router network in Europe as well as for the public Frame Relay Network in Switzerland. As Director to Public Sector CEE Mr. Heimgartner is responsible for Cisco’s activities in regard to Public Sector  in Slovak Rep, Poland, Czech Rep, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, the Baltic’s and South Eastern Europe. Mr. Heimgartner has an degree in Electronic Engineering and a Master of Business Administration M.B.A. degree.
