Piotr Fuglewicz
A graduate of the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and post-graduate studies „Business management in the conditions of European integration” at the Warsaw School of Economics. He completed the „Quality Management Program for Poland (POQM)” training at AOTS in Tokyo.
In the years 1979-1990 have worked in technical and managerial positions at the Control Systems Institute, and then the Science and Production Center of Control Systems MERASTER in Katowice. In the period 1985-1987 he lectured at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology. He was a board member of Computer Systems for Business International until 1997, and then an advisor to the board of Computerland. From 1999 to 2002 he was successively the advisor to the board and partner of Infovide. He is the founder and since 1991 the president of the TiP company, developing linguistic software for natural languages of the Central and Eastern Europe region, licensed, among others, for Microsoft application programs.

Smart City for Smart Citizen
The presentation will show the results of the discussion that took place during the conference "Intelligent solutions for the intelligent metropolis" organized in the scope of the Smart Visegrad Project. As an example of using intelligent solutions, city Katowice, where the conference took place, will be presented.
