Radoslav Katuščák
Radoslav Katuščák graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Slovak University of Technology. After graduating in 1991, he worked on a study visit to Zurich, Switzerland at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in the Department of Computer Science.
After returning to Slovakia (1994), he became a co-founder of the Slovak-Swiss software company BSL s.r.o. Partner Office.
He has been working for IBM Slovakia, Ltd. since 2004. as a digital media consultant.

Long-Term Preservation of Digital Content
The contribution describes the approach and solution of the company IBM in the field of long-term preservation of digital content. In the first part the presentation describes standard solution for memory institutions for digital content archiving in the context of strategic activities of UNESCO and EC, especially in connection with the European Digital Library. The second part of the presentation should address referential solutions of IBM company in the Dutch National Library and Slovak National Gallery.
