David Bárta is the author of the national MRD methodology on Smart Cities and the European air quality and transport management standards (2019). He is also the author of the largest transport IoT project in the Czech Republic for ŠKODA AUTO in Kvasiny. He is also the publisher of the Central European magazine CITY: ONE in two languages - building the Central European innovation market. He is a member of the MoE SR Expert Team for the Smart Cities Action Plan and Co-Founder of the RASC Think Tank for Concept Definition as an Intelligent Stop, Intelligent Library or Street Database.

He is chairman of the Smart Cities Club. He is specialized in Smart Cities and Smart Regions topics, the quality and safety of public spaces and the theme of sustainable mobility. For five years he has co-organized the international conference Slovakia on the way to the Smart Cities - designated to public and state administration leaders and other experts. With his collaborators and partners from ZMOS they actively cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the SR. A graduated sociologist and a smart technology enthusiast; 1. Deputy Mayor of Poprad City; a local council, member of the City of Poprad; a council member of the VÚC Prešov (Presov Region); a member of Committee for Regional Development, Tourism and Culture. He is engaged in energy, smart city and education within the frame of the City of Poprad. He was at the foundation of Popradská energetická spoločnosť and Slovak Smart City Cluster. He is a co-author of the “Poprad Development Program with a View to 2040”  

Heliodor Macko is the founder of Visicom, which develops software solutions for FMCG sales representatives. After Visicom was acquired by the American company AFS Technologies, he became the director of SEAK based in Prešov. SEAK specializes on genuine intelligent lighting control technology for smart cities / smart industry and electric car chargers and it is being increasingly successful on the international market.
