Heikki Lunnas
Co-President of ELANET (CEMR)
Heikki Lunnas has worked in the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities since 1987 and before that time nine years in the local government. His main current responsibilities in the association are information society and e-government strategies in the local and regional government, co-operation and interest work of the municipalities in the national public government and international activities.
Heikki is one of the founder members of ELANET-network and has been since 2007 the co-president of the network. He has participated in several international development projects and other activities including the project management of LOCREGIS 1996-2000 and 17 times expert work for the rapporteurs of the Committee of the Regions.
During the last years Heikki has been member of the steering group of the Government’s information society policy programme and he has actively worked to develop public government ICT cooperation.
