ITAPA DEFENCE EXPO - FREE ENTRY FOR THE PUBLIC
A one-day conference focused on innovations in the defense industry, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, with a unique location of a scientific nature at the SNP Museum, will take place on September 21st in Banská Bystrica.
The ITAPA DEFENCE 2023 conference will be accompanied by an EXPO. You can look forward to a diverse program in the outdoor area of the SNP Museum. It will feature the demining machine Božena, the combat tank Leopard 2A4, the self-propelled howitzer Zuzana, the Polaris off-road vehicle from the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, which has been saving civilian lives for decades. Of course, there will also be a demonstration of a medical vehicle specially modified for military purposes and deployment in challenging terrain conditions with a water level of up to 60 cm.
The exhibition will be complemented by a vehicle from Aliter Technologies, which offers integrated "MMR" (Mobile Mission Control) capabilities for VIMA and SILWA resources. MMR is designed to provide information and communication technology services independently or as part of small teams, using their own elements for data collection and sharing with VIMA and SILWA devices.
Don't miss the unique opportunity to see the armored vehicle Gerlach, which reflects the latest combat tactics from Zetor Engineering. Robotics and AI will be represented by the duo Crawler and Ringo from RoboTech. The tracked robot Crawler is designed for outdoor use, while the robot Ringo is for indoor use, both sharing their purpose in military applications and navigation using artificial intelligence.
For those considering their future in the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, there will be a unique opportunity to visit the knowledge booth PONOŠ from the Human Resources Section of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, where you can also participate in activities aimed at increasing the population's readiness for state defense. In the RECRUITS booth, you can view a static display of handheld weapons from Special Operations Forces. The exhibition will also include a partner booth in collaboration with Rekord Hale Namiotowe, which provides tent structures for the civilian and military markets.
Families with children, as well as ornithology and cynology enthusiasts, will enjoy falconry performances and a dynamic military police canine show.
The atmosphere will be enhanced by performances by artists from the Military music Banská Bystrica. Those interested in learning more about our history can participate in guided tours of the exhibited artifacts in the SNP Museum grounds.
The exhibition will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the SNP Museum grounds in Banská Bystrica.
