The first day of the congress will be opened by Veronika Remišová, Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and Minister of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, with her participation in the panel Modern Europe - Modern Slovakia.

The panel will continue the ongoing discussion on ways, procedures and solutions in the digitization of Slovakia for several years. Questions and answers, for example on how to create a space in which the modernization and innovation potential of Slovakia will increase, are key for the whole society. Effective support for innovation helps the country to compete globally.

For example, the Olympic athletics winner from Rio de Janeiro 2016, Matej Tóth, will also perform. He will tell us "How to become the best in the world". Radoslav Danilák from the Tachyum company, which is behind the revolutionary Prodigy chip, will present the vision "How to make Slovakia the leader of modern Europe and the world". On the first day of the congress, under the moderation of Zuzana Kovačič Hanzelová, a discussion of ITAPA OPEN TALK will take place on the topic "How to build a functioning digital state, or why should it be successful now?"
