Barbara Jermol Marcinčák
Barbara Jermol Marcinčák is a Deputy Head of Unit responsible for Czechia and Slovakia in the Directorate for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission. In more than 10 years of work at the European Commission, she was responsible for the implementation of cohesion policy in different MS as well as for the preparation of the legislative framework for the 2021-2027 cohesion policy. Before she managed different projects in the Government Office of the Republic of Slovenia for EU affairs related to pre-accession that she later implemented in different countries of Western Balkans. During the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU she was responsible for relations with the European Parliament and the General Affairs working group.
