The Tatrabanka, currently the most innovative bank in Slovakia, together with the Atos company, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of the SR, have successfully conducted a unique project of using the biometric facial recognition in the banking processes. In this presentation you will observe the trends within the given area as well as a success story of a real project conducted in Slovakia in the banking sector, which can serve as the inspiration and the stimulus for the implementation of this technology also in other sectors, including the state administration.

Effective use of eGovernment Outputs by commercial subjects can significantly help to increase the security of systems of commercial subjects and enhance the effectivity of fight with economic criminality. Use of existing data from public administration systems and secure identity authentication significantly increases the exposure of dummy identity and economic criminality connected with it.
For example, the use of new effective biometric methods of authentication of the identity can reduce the eventuality of scams with dummy identity in public and private sector and vastly increase security and effectiveness of these systems.
