He graduated from the Department of Automated Engineering and Control at the Technical University in Ostrava. Here and at Northwest Missouri State University, he then earned a doctorate in the same field. For 12 years he worked at many universities in the Czech Republic, the USA and Finland, where he specialized in information technology. He has been working professionally for Microsoft since 1998 and later worked in various technological and managerial positions. He was involved in software development, leading the cloud division at a time when the cloud began to conquer business and today he specializes in the field of artificial intelligence. He is currently working with industry leaders and regulators to implement the digital transformation strategy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, leading a team for artificial intelligence.
